Dynamic pricing recalculates the quote each time the user makes a change. The system searches for the best way to produce the job. It analyses complex price structures such as finishing options and binder capacities. This allows users to obtain immediate feedback on their decisions.

100% Customisable Business Rules & Workflow

PrinterFace provides a solid framework in which to create flexible workflows and business rules. As each client's rules are different, the system supports full customisation of its printing options and workflow rules, for example:


  • Orders under $200 only require a cost centre code
  • Orders over $200 and under $1000 must have a manager's signoff
  • Maximum for any one order is $2000, except
  • Orders from the marketing department have a limit of $5000 but also need their content routed to the Legal department for approval.

File Transfer & Hardcopy Support

The most important thing in printing is to 'capture the work'. PrinterFace makes it easier for users to communicate with print centres by supporting both file transfer and hard copy receipting. This ensures users can get electronic files into production fast, and improves tracking and control of hardcopy documents.

Hardcopy tickets allow users to completely spec a print job online and then arrive at a print centre with their hard copy. Production staff can enter the ticket ID number and attach the hard copy to the original PrinterFace job.

Print Centre Workflow & Job Ticketing

Production tickets can be printed and attached to work to follow the job as it moves through various stages of production. This allows production staff to check on job requirements at a glance.

The print centre workflow can be tailored to the way your print centre operates and the needs of your client. Users can then check where their print jobs are up to in the print centre workflow at any time.

Online PDF Proofing

Built in support for over 200 file types allows PrinterFace to convert most standard office files (including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to PDF. This allows users to get instant feedback on 'what the printer will see' and greatly improves the accuracy and quality of the finished product.

Custom-Built Data Importing & Exporting

Custom-built data connectors give PrinterFace the ability to import and export data from other systems. Each client's connectors are customised based on their specific accounting and reporting needs.
